Hi all!
I am attaching a picture of Albee, my baby leopard tortoise.
I think he is around five months old, and I have had him for almost 2 months. He is eating well, a varied diet of dandelion, chicory, Hosta, raspberry leaves, kale, radicchio, endive, escarole, mazuri food, and tortoise hay from tortoise supply. He also gets calcium two times a week. He is soaked daily.
I have him in a semi enclosed habitat that I created. I try to keep the humidity around 80%, and the hot side of his enclosure is about 90°.
I am using orchid bark for the substrate.
He has a T5 Tube light, an incandescent bulb for basking, and a CHE for heat.

i’m not sure if you need all that information, but thought I would preempt questions about it, LOL.

Finally to my question: is the light/cream coloration normal? It is new, so I want to make sure it’s nothing to be concerned about.

Many thanks!

That cream color is generally highly desired for appearance sake. The more the better...but, your tastes may vary.

Thanks for answering so quickly!
I have seen pictures of leopards with the cream color and think it’s really pretty, so yay!

The cream color is new growth coming in. That is a good sign.
