Is this normal ?

I have a ornate box turtle , and I have noticed that it sheds it skin specially around his neck , he drinks water , eats normal , poops normal , am I doing something wrong ? Or is this normal ?

It's normal, but sometimes it just looks painful to me. Does your guy have a soaking pool? They love to sit in water for hours and if it's been too dry, that could be why it's shedding....

Thank you for the info , no he doesn't have a pool but I guess getting him wet is not the same as him just soaking , I'll be sure to get him one ASAP , thanks again , being a first time owner I learn a lot everyday
