Is this cactus safe?

I just fed my tort some of this cactus to my tort. I know I shoulda asked first but I got it from cub. I also don't have any out door weeds growing because I live in Minnesota. But anyways back on topic is this safe?

No problem. The only thing I do is burn off the spines. Or you can cut them off.

Ok I used a potato peeler thingy to remove the spines and tough layer. Again thanks for the help it's greatly appreciated
