Is my tortoise eating too much, I've been feeding him every other day four times a week with pellets mixed with hibiscus leaves and flower is it gaining too much weight

It looks fine to me. I don't think it is overweight.

Looks fine to me as well. These guys are grazers in nature, and eat constantly. I put out 2 piles of fresh greens, once in the morning and one in the afternoon, about the size of the shell. I do this every day. Then I leave a dish of mazuri for it to munch on at will throughout the day. This is EVERY day, not every other day. You want good fresh grasses and weeds to comprise the bulk of the diet. As long as it has plenty of room to move around and nice warm temperatures to promote metabolism, you can't overfeed them.

That's right. A nice big enclosure, and the correct temperatures, humidity, lighting, substrate and diet...and he is good to go!
