So what kind could be with that color on his face?
Well said Bryan. All true.
Indeed. I recently acquired a mature female Bolivian with incredible marbling on the plastron. It's an F3 animal from the 80s import parents. Quite interesting. She is starting to nest now actually. In process of neonates I'd be curious In seeing how some of the young reared up display the physical chacteristics of the typical black plastron of
The grand Chaco.
Male breeding her has solid black plastron and she has marbled. Wonder what plays of this as time comes.
Hi Bryan. I dont have any pics as young. Here are some pics of him...View attachment 176128View attachment 176129 View attachment 176130View attachment 176131 View attachment 176132View attachment 176133 View attachment 176134View attachment 176135
Is there any fact on the eyes color and nails?? Both are dark also.I'd like to see better pics of his head/face and closer pics of the color of the scutes on the carapace if at all possible. Do you have any pics of this male when he was younger as well?
No exactly, i think since last two years it is more deep the concavity.Do you remember how big he was when the concavity started on his plastron?
They can live together with no problems, but if you intend on breeding them and want a pure line I'd separate them soon as you can.

Well the thing is that she lay and egg on May 10 and i saw the male very active with her...They can live together with no problems, but if you intend on breeding them and want a pure line I'd separate them soon as you can.
If not breeding just bin any eggs.
Mine are mixed together and come from various mixed previous homes. I can only see 2 ways forward, never breed them again or split them and not breed for a few years. If i was you I would split them before you start adding more to your herd(s) and end up in a mess like me.
You shouldn't really have only one male and one female. The male may pester your female.Well the thing is that she lay and egg on May 10 and i saw the male very active with her...
