in Colorado- looking for a Sulcatta

Hello, we are in Colorado, southern 81240. We are very interested in adopted/rescuing/purchasing a Sulcata Tortoise. We live on 5 acres with plenty of room. We have friends with one that weighs over 100 lbs and are totally in love! Is there a rescue we can contact or a private site we can join? Appreciate any help Terri

I live in Colorado Springs and have never had any luck at finding a Colorado rescue facility that had reptiles with the exception of a snake or Beardie once in awhile. I'd try Craigslist either in Colorado or New Mexico maybe? Hope you find what you're looking for. I wound up purchasing my little sulcata from the Arizon Tortoise Compound (ATC).
