I'm new and need help wit pm's

when i click on private messages it comes up with this statement

i have already used the activation code, can anyone help

I believe that is happening, because you have not yet done your first five posts.

It could be because you haven't activated the PM part of your User CP. Go to "User CP" located in the center of the top of the page. Click on "edit options" then look for "Messaging and Notification." Place a check mark next to the items that you want activated. Then go to the bottom of the page and click on "update options."
