Hello Everyone,

I need suggestions, my 1st grader wants to enter the science fair at her school this year. We were thinking something tortoise based of course. :)
So far the only thing I can come up with is Do Tortoises See Color. I need something I can do in less then 2 weeks with a 6yr old. Any suggestions?

Do Torts Move Faster When You Feed Them First? Then feed one tort and mark him/her with a little piece of painters tape. Then make a circle (with tape on the floor) and a mark in the center, place both torts in the middle and RACE!! The first one to pass the outter circle wins. Its pretty simple and fun!

My daughters best friend has a box turtle so we are thinking of teaming up and doing some Tortoise/Turtle comparisons maybe. With food, speed, habitat etc. So may possibilities but I want to make sure its still fun for the kids.
