Hi. I was hand feeding my sulcata a hibiscus leaf. He stuck out his head and bit farther than I expected him to. He nipped my finger. (BTW my sulcata is ~10in in length)
I know I have seen lots of people wondering what it would feel like, but were unwilling to offer themselves up as tribute.
I unknowingly offered myself as tribute, and will share what it felt like.
It hurt some but didn't really leave a mark. It definately didn't break the skin. It felt smooth, but pinched where his beak was.
My finger was bitten by a duck once when I was a child. It felt kind of like that but with way more jaw power and more 'pinchy'. I now know that I will not want to get bitten by him once my little guy grows up!
