Humidity high or less?

Hey guys. I read some blogs which says star tortoise need high humidity & some says need less? What is the preferred humidity for star tortoise?

You have heard outdated information. For youngsters 80% up os necessary. Older tortoises should never be kept in arid conditions

Star tortoises thrive in humid conditions. The problem is if you have high humidity and cooler temperatures. Best for Stars is 80% humidity and always above 80°f (27°C). Never let temperatures in your tortoise enclosure get below that. It is very important that a tortoise has the ability to warm its core body temperature to above 30°C every day. So that, combined with high humidity is the best conditions.
