Hi
Right now I have my baby I'm a 20gallon zoo med reptihabitat while I finish building his "closed chamber". I closed the top of the tank with tin foil but I'm still loosing a lot of humidity and heat.
I have to mist every hour to keep my humidity above 70% and the temps won't go above 89 in the warm side.

Any ideas?

Usually the loss of moisture (humidity) is from an insufficient seal. The same with heat. It is leaking out. Perhaps if you posted a picture of your setup we could give you some advice.

It looks like you have it sealed up pretty good. Maybe if you made the substrate a little deeper and moistened it well the humidity would go higher. I used to add an extra water dish to get more moisture in the air. I would put it on top of the hide so it didn't take up floor space.
