He's from Indiana...he probably doesn't even know who the f**k Huell Howser is!
I'm guessing he's named for Huell...Saul Goodman's energetic henchman on BREAKING BAD!

Correct on all counts.I was not familiar with Huell Howser, did name this tortoise after Huell Babineaux from Breaking Bad, and had hoped to post a photograph with my phone but ran into difficulty. Anyway, here goes:

Finally purchased a digital scale today to track my tortoises' growth. 352 grams and counting. You can hear a clacking sound from his beak when he chews. Which is pretty much all the time. He even walks around with little blades of grass hanging from the corner of his mouth when he's not actively eating.

They do grow slower when you keep them outside full time. Not necessarily a bad thing...
