So far there's no change. I've done 2x soak on Friday and in a fe hours the 2nd soak for today. This morning had the baby food carrots added to the soak. It seemed energized for a few minutes after. Ate a few bites of lettuce. I have never prayed so hard for poo in my entire life ;)
More to come :)

Hi and welcome. Tom's threads are your best friend. Since you live in England, you're gonna get cold weather soon. For UV rays, you'll need to get a UVb for those days that she won't be able to go outside. Twelve hours of uv rays with a mercury vapor bulb should do nicely. Btw, with the spraying for mosquitoes, I would not put your baby outside until you have hosed the entire area she goes in for at least three days or more. For the winter days, you can buy orchard grass or Timothy grass/hay and cut it in tiny pieces and mix it into her food. This will provide fiber for her to keep regular:p Also, this is something you can get and use all winter long when there's no fresh grass or weeds to graze on. The only other thing I would like to remind you is to keep your baby warm and humid! Best to you and your baby.

Thank you! :) I have read and am using Toms threads. Excellent and strait forward. Love them. :)
I live in California USA.
We have fresh oat grass growing in her enclosure now (planted bigger so it doesn't eat the seeds) and also give her fresh hay now. Being as we buy hay in bales for the cattle does anyone now if they sell organic hay for torts?
Thanks again!!!

Update: :) I loaded my tort up and took it to town. Got a clean bill of health except for the constipation. Shells nice and hard, no pyramiding, eyes bright, weights good etc.
The conclusion: Since the mosquito abatement started spraying and we couldn't put it out daily its gone from happy healthy to constipated. The UVB bulb the "specialist" set us up with is not even close to good enough. Since it started slowing down on eating it wasn't under the light directly enough and no outdoor time the problem just snowballed.
On the way to buy a rock to add under the heat lamp it finally stressed and was mad enough to force things out. Lets just say I could not believe all that could come out of one tort! Some of them were huge :( Quite a bit of "urine" also.
Once back in her habitat she wandered around a minute them went into her hide. I left here there for an hour or so then put her outside. She walked quite a bit while out for a few hours finally settling in the shade for a nap. Watched it pretty close and didn't see any eating. Once I brought it back in it wallowed in the water dish for a few then investigated the spring mix but didn't eat. Been sleeping in its hide since.
Thought?
