We are Carol and Eddie from UK. We are brand new to tortoises, got a leopard tortoise on the 6/4/2012, she is called Shelly and is about 3yrs old. Call it a mothers instinct but on Tuesday a gut feeling was telling me all was not well with her even though she was acting normal and eating. took her to the vet and she has Hexamitas, vet has taken blood to run full blood tests, will get results in a few days.
We have 4 skin kids, 2 dogs, 5 cats, 1 skunk, 1 meerkat, 1 cockatiel,, 1 budgie, 2 EU polecats, loads of ferrets as we run a ferret rescue.
