Help with heating and lighting

Hi all I've bought a new vivarium after adive I received from lots of people on here . I'm now really unsure of what sort of bulbs I need I got one at one end but not the other where he sleeps he was very cold when I got him up today and spent all day at the hot end but has now gone back to the cold end and I'm really unsure what I need

Based on your latest posts I assume your talking about a russian. You‘ll need a T5 fluorescent tube for uvb, a CHE for heat, and a incandescent flood bulb for basking light.

Thank you do I need heat at both ends or is I better to have a cooler side . I really do appreciate the help .

You should have a cooler side so that your tort can regulate it’s temperature. When it’s hot, it goes to the cooler side and when it’s cold, it goes to bask.
