When I was watching my tortoise pistachio eat a little bit of tomato i jeard clicking while he was eating and saw a bubble comw out of one nostril. I googled this and said it was an advancwd respiratory infection and for me to take him to a vet immediatleh. I wanted to hear advice from the forum on what i should do. Any advice os appreciated.

Most likely the clicking is a beak that is a bit overgrown. The bubbles may or may not be anything we will need some more info to determine......
Bubbles- many or just a single one here and there?
Temp- your enclosure temps (hot, cold and humidity)?

The nares terminate in a tortoise's mouth, the roof of his mouth. So it's not unusual to see the occasional bubble or bit of fluid come out of the nose. Just pay attention and if it seems to happen a lot then you can take measures. . . warm him up day and night, etc.

Thank you all for your replies. His enclosure is warm and since i love on a humod climate it is regularly humid. I am much more calm after these replies and ive only ever heard clicking once. I will pay attention to him

How warm is warm and how cool is cool?
Humidity in the area you live only works if the tortoise lives outside without added heat lamps/lights. It does help a indoor enclosure.
It likely isn't anything to worry about, but like was already said, just keep an eye on him to see if it gets worse.
Know the answers to my question will help us help you better and faster just in case things get worse.

The warmest temperature is 95 degrees and the lowest is 60. Thw humidity while o tey to keep it up every day tends to vary by the day.
