Is a little mountain an ok place?

there seem to be a lot of them here...most friends I showed pictures told me to kill it...good thing I found it

Now in this picture his head is black. In the other picture it looked yellow. That was what was throwing me. Not a short-tail like I previously thought because in this picture you can clearly see a long pointy tail. Probably a Coastal banded California King.
