My beta fish is at the bottom of the tank. He is breathing slowly and not moving. What do I do.

Change the water...declorinate... and make it just a tad warmer than room temperature.
Are the eyes clear? Are they cloudy? White/gray? Any fin discoloration or abnormalities?
Bettas are normally lazy fish they go through spirts where they will be super active and then crazy lazy.

Owner of 8 bettas

I have them all over the house in different vases.

Cloudy eyes is generally a sign that he's not going to be around much longer :(

Keep up with water changes...best you can do...you can try adding bettafix...its basically a fish/betta antibiotic but there's no guarantee

How are you keeping him now?! I haven't ever killed a beta. I have 6, the oldest I've had for 7 years..

Well my sister had him in a .5 gallon tank but I bought it from her and now it lives in a clean two gallon tank.
