My tortoise has recently appeared with this mark on his shell, i dont know what it is! Any information would be much appriacated,terrymy tortoise is 18th months old!

Welcome! Looks like new growth to me. In between the scutes correct the whiteish cream looking lines if what your refered to? New growth is always a good thing.

I think you're talking about the whitish ring around the bottom of your tortoises shell correct? If so that is just new growth and is perfectly healthy!
