Hello,I'm Dale I use to have a African spur thigh got way to big for me to house in the winter here I ended up giving her to a breeder, and the last time I checked on her she was healthy, and happy. So fast forarding to now I'm really interested in the Hearman's,Russian, and Greek I'm leaning toward the Greek because I like the more domed look of there carapis.Well I'll be on from time to time any advice on my species sulection would be greatly apprieciated.Thank you.Dale.

Welcome aboard!

I can't speak for the Herman's or Greeks, (I have never kept them) but I can tell you that if you get a Russian or two you won't be disappointed. They are awesome little tortoises with big personality. Very fun and rewarding species to keep. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Russians are the funniest torts I have had experience with but the other two are great as well and have more colorful shells than the russians.
