Welcome.
What is the humidity level of your enclosure? Humidity is just as important as temperature and should be kept at a constant 90% or better.

Can you take a closer shot of your baby's shell and face? With that we can tell you if you have a standard Redfoot or a Brazilian Cherryhead Redfoot. Im lucky enough to have one of each :)

It's quite possible for your tort to be 1 year old but a 3"shell length says it's most likely younger than that. My standard RF is 3-1/2" long and is 6-1/2 months old. My Cherryhead is 2-3/4" long and is 3-1/2 months old. Torts all grow at different rates and you can never know for sure unless you know the hatch date. If they are not houses in optimal conditions with good diets there growth is slower. I've seen 18 month old Sulcata torts fed correctly bigger than 6 year old unhealthy ones.

Be sure to post lots of pics, we love pics. Welcome again!!!!

Also... 75 is too low for a small Redfoot. Cold and humid will lead to a sick baby. Get the humidity up and don't let the cold side get lower than 80. Most species of torts need a hot side and a cold side, Redfoots are different. They don't even need a basking spot but it's good to offer one in case they want to. One of mine loves to bask and the other not so much. You could make the entire enclosure 84 degrees and it would be perfectly happy.

@tortdad Here are some shots that you requested.
As for the temperature, the table is actually 80 one end and 95 the other. I forgot to mention the temperature when I put the pelxiglass to keep in heat. The humidity is about 90-95%. I doubted the age when first told also. She seemed a bit too young to have an egg yolk scar(it was bigger when i first got her 2 months ago).

Defiantly a Brazilian Cherryhead. You can tell it was raised with a dry start. You can see slight beginnings of pyramiding but you've got your humidity up so that will stop and smooth out over time. My standard Redfoot is the same way. Good looking tort.

Thank you for the advice. When I first got her 2 months ago, her head looked like extra sugar-coated frosted flakes...
When she's in her table she is not dry, but when I take her out, her head dries out like frosted flakes.
This is about 2 minutes after her soak.
Is that normal? I've seen other dried redfoot head pictures, but none are as frosty as Tofu's. <--Should I post this in the redfoot forum?
