I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Charlie and I live in Mercer county, Pennsylvania. I look forward to corresponding on the forum. I am 61 years old and I have been a lover of reptiles and amphibians since I was a little boy. Herpetology is fascinating to me.
I have successfully bred and raised many different species of reptiles. This is the first time having a pair of Russian tortoises for me, though. When I was younger, there were many eastern box turtles where I lived. Many times I would bring one home and give it to my older sister to keep for a while, then we would return it to the exact same place where I found it. My sister is a retired Biology teacher. She and I have taken on the husbandry of many different reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds and mammals. We both hope to learn alot about tortoises on the forum and likewise, are willing to help others in the care of any specie of animal. I look forward to making new friends here....Charlie (Disney)
