Quick 'ello from MN

Not yet a tortoise owner, hope to get one in the future but am looking into different species until that time comes.

Have owned various reptiles and amphibians in the past, and currently have three juvenile leopard geckos that keep the cats entertained.

Pancakes are an awesome species!

In our climate, you'd probably do best with a Russian/Greek/Hermanns or a box turtle.
