Hello there,

My name is Dave, I live in London, England. I've been keeping Hermanns tortoises for 5 years now, currently have 13 (with two eggs incubating). I also have 4 young Horsfields Tortoises and have just taken on an Ornate Box Turtle (quite a rarity in the UK) and I'd like to say a big thank you to this forum for some invaluable tip's on getting things right for my Box Turtle from the start.

I already recognise a name or two from UK forums (that Egyptian Dan get's everywhere, Hi Danny!).

Thanks for the warm welcome. Must say my first week as an Ornate Boxie owner has been highly entertaining. She is a real character. I caught her eating her "greens" today which was a relief.
