Hey all,

It’s 111f today in LA, and our house is in the mid 80s with the AC on.
I’m nervous about Miguel our baby Herman (10wo) being too hot.
Her cool side temperature is reading 86f, when it normally would be 82f at that point in the day. Miguel has been in her hide more than usual as the temperature rose.
She ate well early this morning, and I soaked her extra long.
I put ice cubes in a bowl out of her reach, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything temperature-wise.

Is there any behavior I should watch out for?

You can turn off the lights. The light from the window tells him it's daytime. I have the same problem. I looked in the reptile room one day last week and my two closed chambers were both over 100F degrees. I opened the doors and fanned in some cooler air then I turned off the lights, leaving only the room's light on.
