I'm head starting some Leopard hatchlings for a breeder friend of mine. She has some more in the "cooker" but so far I have these 2. Brand new babies still with some yolk sack and in the "egg shape".
Looking forward to the rest hatching :D
I'll have a blast giving all these guys a great start...then they will be ready for new homes ;)
Thanks Tom and Greg T for your willingness to help lil ol me!

Baby B: (still some yolk sack left, hard to see and still pretty folded)

In a spring mix tub on paper towels until the yolk sac finishes absorbing:

Thanks for looking :) wish me luck :)

Thanks all.

By the way bouaboua, I'm not the one with the hatching skills...yet ;)

My friend has the adults who bred and she incubated the eggs. She is passing them to me as they hatch.

18-20 days old now :) Baby A on the left weighs in at 31 grams today. That's a gain of 4 grams!
Baby B weighs in at 37 grams. He has gained 5 grams!
Look at that new growth, too. Oh, and they are finally round lol.

Holy cow Heather. Soon you will be hatching your own. You just keep getting more and more:D. The bugs got ya bad. Just curious. Why isn't the breeder caring for them?

Barb, my personal total is only 5. The others I only have for the first few months until they are ready to be sold.

Another batch of eggs is due to hatch any day :) so I'll have more fresh hatchlings to head start soon!

Hahaha, I am counting on you not wanting to see them all go. So, I figured maybe another two or three will stay with you:D. Besides, after five, what's a few more:p :D

It doesn't take any skill to watch an egg in the incubator. The challenges start once they break out. Ah Grasshopper - You will quickly learn the ways of the hatchlings... :p
