Hazelnut/Filbert Mulch?

Hi,
It is us again. So N2torts had those beauty leopard baby pics which my son and I just oooohed and awed over. But there was filbert mulch it looked like. That is readily ( I mean very ) available here in Portland OR area. Is it safe for tort tables? I would wonder if too sharp??? Anyone use?

Hmmm, I have not heard of it, maybe it was orchid bark?

I personally wouldn't use that...looks hard for them to walk on and kinda pointy. Everyone has their own favorite and reasons to use it though. (http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-LEPAWHATTA#axzz1DtUEfyke)
