growth of my tortie

Hey, I was wondering if my little tortie is growing properly? We've had him for a year and he was a baby when we got him (wish we would have measured him then!). He measures 4" from head to tail (shell only) and his shell measures 7" around. Anyone know if that's a good size for a 1 to 1 1/2 year old?

It would depend on what species you had, as to how the growth rate is.
