My Hermanns just this morning passed a huge pea sized urate stone. Mind you this tort is 27g, so this is a big stone. I'm glad it passed! Anyway, I see this tort drinking water nearly every day, and he gets soaked several times a week. I very rarely have seen any urates, and I guess this is why. It concerns me that this thing was so hard an he seems to drink a lot. I can't imagine that he is dehydrated since I see him drink so frequently on his own.

Any sugestions. Could he be getting too much calcium? Hopefully he will start eating better now that this stone has passed. That had to hurt!
