For some of you guys who knows me, I have cried and cried about how awful San Francisco weather has been for my torts! Just today for example, sunny but windy. Not only is it cold for the tort, high winds can actually dry out a tortoises skin. SOAK SOAK SOAK! lol... Well anyways, Ive been reading online about greenhouse! I stumbled upon this video and i thought i share it with you guys! Please let me know what you think! Ideas and thoughts! Ill have to wait till the weekend to build mine but ill definitely keep you guys posted on how warm it gets inside! Crossing fingers and I pray to god this solves my issues!

I was actually planning on a removable top! Sun is out, top gone! place it back mid afternoon so it can build up heat for the night! That or have the top w/ glass that dont block too much uvb from the sun. That is something i have to look up... pain in the ***... yes! but worth it for my tort! I like the fact that its removable so i can take it apart for the winter for hibernation.
