I want to take my baby greek outside but it is very cold here right now but yet it is very sunny too. Can I take her outside even though it is only 40 degrees? Or is that to cold?

Is it way windy? Are you able to get a temp in the sun? I really think it will likely be too cold....if your sunny spot is 70+ then I would go for it...but personally I would not if it is not....IMHO :D

Tortoises are like storage heaters and once they've charged their batteries they can motor round even when the temprerature drops.

Joe is a full grown Greek and he goes out most days, but I reckon his charge will only last an hour at 20F/10C... and at 40F, I probably wouldn't put him out.

Your tort is much smaller, so my answer has to be a definite no, unless you have a heated greenhouse or something.
