Hey guys, I adopted a leopard tortoise (Sheldon) with bad mbd. He lives in an indoor inclosure where he gets lots of supplimented food with calcium and other nutrients (he was in a home where he got only spinach and the rare strawberry for years) but he loves to go out and graze in the yard for a long time each day. I’m extra careful with him and only let him eat dichondra, dollar weed, Bahia grass, some flowers, and some clovers, because there are some plants I know are poisonous on the edges of the yard. I need help identifying if these other plants are safe... I’m talking about the plants in the photos that aren’t dichondra. I live on the west coast of Florida. Thanks :)

In the first picture I can see oxalis. Not poisonous, but usually not recommended as part of a healthy diet. Also, they a difficult to get rid of.

Thank you! It seems that none of these plants are especially good for torts.
