Good pics of my 2 Three Toes + shell question

Here are my two new Three Toes
Notice on my female just to the right of its head there is a part of the shell that is whitish, is this anything to concern my self with? It appears dry when she is out of the substrate, which is slightly damp coir+bark+spag moss

Are you sure that's not just a chip in the shell and that's the bone your seeing? Nothing to worry about if that's it. I have a couple box turtles with the same condition.
