I was not liking all the sand either. And why do they have to go after the same pumpkin, they had enough not to share.

I would love to visit that zoo some day. ANd they aren't too far from me! SUch a shame that I've never gone. I saw this video on their instagram page.

Sorry the pictures are poor quality…the pyramiding is sad, but at the time it was standard practice to raise tortoise the way this one was raised.
@Tom you've met my nephew, would you say he lacks in tortoise knowledge?
