got the cherry head female at 5.5" now she 8" ,male rf 6.5" now 10" got them both for 1 and half yr.got them both with pyramid becuase previous owner used only newpaper for substrate,with good humidity n hydration as they grow the pyramid seems getting less,hope to breed them soon

Nice torts but I would advise against breeding the two. There are many threads about mixing the red foots with cherries.

I think the smaller one feed more food and the bigger one feed less food untill they are no big different.

Not sure it's a good idea to cross breed the two.
Keep the genetics pure.
And RedFire, I think tortoises should be fed a good mixed diet of as much as they wish to eat.
Growth occurs at differing speeds, not just based on diet.
You can't overfeed or underfeed to get the size you want.

Plus Cherries can't get to the size of the Red-foot. Breeding to different species isn't a good idea as I agree with everyone else. Beautiful torts btw.
