Living in Cleveland our winters are horrible. Has anyone in colder areas ever pack and freeze weeds to feed in the winter months? I don't see why I couldn't make little sandwich bags of weeds, and freeze them? I know there are plenty of options but my guy really loves clover. Any opinions?

I've never tried freezing them, but have you considered getting a planter and growing it yourself so you can have fresh clover and dandelions? I'm sure they aren't difficult to grow.

Give the freezing a try! No reason for waiting til winter.

Also, picking them and drying them might be a good option.

They mostly defrost limp and wet and nasty. You are better off growing what you can in pots and buying greens.
