I have five Redfoot tortoises of different ages but all in top health.
They are all kept clean and are in very clean pens with clean water.
One of my newer, very large females always seems to be accompanied by several flies.
Inspection of the entire animal has revealed no wounds. No smells and nothing unusual at all. (Nothing stuck on the shell, etc.)
The flies aren't always on her, just near by. And when they land on her, it's not always in the same spot.
I'm puzzled. Any ideas?
