We have a young Hermann's tortoise who lives in an outdoor enclosure in Southeast Florida. Should we bring her inside for cold weather? Will her hide be enough for 50-60 nights, when pushing 75-80 degrees during the day? On overcast rainy days she tends to dig down and disappear anyway. We are going to replace all her bedding and bark (and whatever it's called) tomorrow so it's all dry and fresh. At what temp should we bring her inside? The place we got her said she should be fine, but she's so small, we don't want her to get sick.

Get yourself a tote from Home depot, toss some newspaper in it and bring your guy in if it gets below say....55.
Otherwise you can make a heated house with CHE hanging above.
Babies aren't as resilient as adults.
Don't let her get too cold.
Itll only be like 4 days out of the year anyway!:)
