Yeah its a pain.. u have to load it to youtube and then post it herethanks
i have a short little video but idk how to post that.
@Yvonne G It would be great if the forum had its own storage for media posted here. That way we would avoid losing old pics like the ones from Tom's boxes threads. I know there's a cost involved but perhaps amazon or other cloud providers have more attractive packages lately.Yeah its a pain.. u have to load it to youtube and then post it here
Could we have some more pics showing other views? I'm having trouble understanding what I'm looking at. I know it's gorgeous, though!
The problem with Tom's pictures is that he used photobucket or tinypics instead of just using the Forum's picture attachment. If a member uses photobucket to post their pictures there's nothing we can to do save them@Yvonne G It would be great if the forum had its own storage for media posted here. It’s gorgeous! Soooo jealous. What kind of tortoise gets to reside in this palace?
I have cedar blocks I made from when my neighbors tree came down years ago. The first week or so you could smell cedar then nothing. You have to sand that dried top off to get the odor again so dont worry. Also I have a cedar lined closet in my bedroom from 1923 and while it looks beautiful no scent. I think you are fine just watch that the tort doesn't chew at the wood, but even then low danger. It is when it is mulched and you get the smaller edible pieces that toxic danger is the highest. Although cedar dust from cutting and sanding can be very irritating as long as you don't remodel it while he is in their you are okay@William Lee Kohler
My yellow foot is never really actually in contact with the cedar structer and after some re serch i found that only when their in direct contact with the wood or have it touching their skin like shavings will problems arise. After being in there now 3-4 months no problems that i've noticed, still active and still even though this thing is huge, she still wants out regularly to roam the house. eats whatever is in front of her.
i'll take more picks tomorrow when its light
thanks for the kind words all and if some one has more info on the cedar and fumes and if what i've got needs mended please let me know : )

heres the area she tends to sleep in under the stair caseRemember that after a few days we become nose blind so that is little indication. I have a cat box that can smell pretty bad and cannot smell it most of the time. A tortoise is down low where smells or fumes tend to settle to. It's just something that I wouldn't risk.
