Yeah I dont know either, my brother might help me out making my own but I want it good enough to hold the humidity she needs. I feel like the cage she is in isn’t big enough because of her growing so much etc. I’m sure it would last for half of winter but I dont know what to do for a new cage because she’s gonna keep growin.

I've heard people making closed chambers out of melamine. There are some cool YouTube videos about it. Melamine is waterproof I believe and you would just have to seal the seams. You might take a peek ? if you did your own you could come up with something crazy cool ?

You can back off on the humidity a good bit once your tort is about two years or so. Once they're about 6" if they're growing smooth they'll continue to grow smooth regardless of humidity.

Okay she’s smooth in the middle but has a little tiny bit on the sides I’m not sure why. But the humidity never goes under 80.

My tortoises have this pretty large area where they live. I also let them out once or twice a day to roam in my backyard while I'm sitting with them. I live in Louisiana so the humidity is high, they seem pretty happy
