I've taken advice from knowledgeable members and convert my temp enclosure to a close chamber. I am using a 100 mvb and che bulb in a thermostat set at 80f. Here are some before and after pictures. The setup has been on for a lil over an hour. I'm keeping an eye on the temp with the mvb. Got some uv tubes coming in. If it gets too hot, I will put in a regular 65 w flood bulb til my uvb tube comes in this sat. Will my russian hatchling be okay for a couple of days. We had it for over a week. The stone under the basking light is read 101-103f. Should I just go head and remove it. The substrate around is reading mid 90s. Please critic my enclosure. What ever adjustment needs done I will do, just wanna keep the little guy healthy and safe. It's a Russian tortoise btw.

Temps are in the low 90s in the whole enclosure. I'm wondering if it's to hot for the Russian tortoise.IMG_20171207_132458.jpg IMG_20171207_132458.jpg

Being too hot is better than being too cold since all you have to do is crack the enclosures door open all the time. Directly under the heat lamp you can put a large Rock so they can't sit there therefore they can't get burnt. Just suggestions.
