I found dandelion greens at the grocery store. I have one happy tortoise! And after a week of sitting by the enclosure whining, Bronson the Bulldogge was allowed to get a closer look. He lasted around 4 minutes before he started whining and crawling towards us. A little bit every few days and hopefully he will learn to stay calm.

What a cute puppy face! You have probably heard it before, but I have to say it because I learned the hard way, never leave your tortoise unattended with the dog.
My dog ignored my tortoise, and all was fine for a couple of years. One day she decided he was a great chew toy. I was lucky. There was no punctures or crushing, but Mort carries the scars of being chewed on. A lot are not lucky.

They will never be left alone, I know I can't trust them. We have started to lock the dogs away in our room now since the enclosure is open.
I'm glad your tort survived!

Very cute! :D I was amazed to see my Russian more interested in the dandelions and other greens that grew in our backyard as opposed to the ones I'd bought in a store. Nothing like home-grown, I guess! ;)
