Would be my guess...it is not a traditional dandi.....if you look at the pic you have, you will see on the flower stalk there is another stalk coming out of the mail one....traditional dandelion does not have that--but rather a single flower stalk for every flower....like this;

Garden compass:
This appears to be a dandelion. There are similar weeds, most developing foliage with jagged edges, daisy-like flowers and fuzzy seed heads that become more garden weeds. If you don't want hundreds of seeds to develop, suggest you cut off at least the flowering head before the seeds disperse. Here's a rundown on the Asteraceae family: http://www.wildflowers-and-weeds.com/Plant_Families/Asteraceae.htm

Dandelions don't have fuzzy leafs like in the picture. Their yellow flowers are bigger shorter and thicker. If we weren't in a drought I'd show you the big dandelions we grow in the Willamette Valley, but we had the hottest summer on record, no rain so the dandelions are gone. But it's been raining all day so maybe tomorrow I post a picture of an Oregon dandelion. My tortoises won't eat those fuzzy leafed things...

That would be awesome for winter here! Unfortunately, I've never seen them :( (in the store) How big of a bundle is it?

I saw the photo of dandelion leaves in their Instagram account... It's not a problem if they don't have them in the store, I can message them and they'll special order (if I wanted to, maybe not?) I'll try to get that plant flowering and seeding soon... Here's the store's link: http://www.lootahpremiumfoods.ae

I bet your tort would appreciate ones straight from the ground moreover than the store isle ones....perhaps you will have better luck than I here on growing them.....the CDTs here are funny, they will only eat the dandi if I have gathered them fresh from a secret place I go to...I have tried multiple times to buy them some from the organic store--but they will not eat them...only fresh picked from the one place...which really is a downfall for them this year...as with the dry weather their secret stash has not happened this year....but I have seeds from those plants spread all over the place at our home...so when it rains, we will see....I wish you luck in your cultivation plans my friend....

Thanks! They just popped up, and I seem to be taking good care of them... I'll be getting hibiscus, grape, rose, and maybe pothos soon. I'll also do the tortoise enclosure, so that's fun :D
