I'm pretty convinced that ducks. At least these ducks. Don't use any logic or common sense. I'm not sure about instincts either.
They just seem plain STUPID
Yep ducks are nuts 🥜😂

They're wiley. They have your attention. They're smart. They remember your address. They're patient. You'll eventually move and duck-lovers will move in.

Um, "You must pen up your ducks or wash off my patio three times a day."
It reminds me of irresponsible people who own "outdoor" cats.
"Outdoors" meaning that they crap in your yard. Instead of their litter box.
Like allowing my dog to drop a deuce in your plants would be acceptable.

And this neighbor has....outdoors cats too.
She's in a wheelchair and seldom speaks. Her husband is even less of a communicator.

Good.
Maybe they'll get ill and leave the area
The ducks won't get it 😔 they'll eat anything. Bread is sooo bad for ducks, geese and wild birds. Corn would be better for them. Your neighbor needs some education. Also, I don't know that it's even legal for her to be feeding them in her yard at all let alone bread..

How about a "wall" made out of a row of large decoy ducks around your porch?

Update.
Now that they are adults, the gang has broken up.
I see three of them walking around together. And I've seen them in my yard from time to time. But they haven't left me any gifts on my porch in weeks.
I'm thinking that the unusual behavior and probably the high survival rate was/is because these guys are hybrid Muscovy and Egyptian ducks.
Even as adults, they're clearly odd looking.

I'll try to get a few photos. Clearly not fully muscovy.
They're slender and act odd
Thanks. That would be so interesting. Even though Muscovy ducks are on my 💩 list 😊
