Cool end/hot end

Got the basking bulb in.. the temp is 90° at the basking spot....what I'm wondering if 86° is too warm at the cooler end?

Nope. Sounds great for a leopard. I let my ambient temp in my enclosures creep into the low 90s during the day with the basking lamps, and then the temp drops to 80 at night.

In a closed chamber there isn't really a warm end and a cool end. More like the basking area, and ambient temp away from the basking area.

U just have the one basking bulb? It seems to me ur basking spot would be warmer if its making the cool end 86.. what size enclosure?

that's true one end only varies by about a couple degrees at the most I just don't want to overheat her cuz she's only 3 months old I'm not sure what the babies can handle versus the adults
