Ok I only joined this forum yesterday n it has set me into panic mode

I am really concerned my wee tortoise has the beginning of pyramiding. I only got her a week ago so I'm trying my best to do everything right. I will post some pics of her shell. I know the substrate wrong I am sorting this.

Pyramiding mainly occurs in sulcatas and leopards. Others pyramid too, but it's not as easy as sulcatas and leopards. You should change out that substrate to something you can moisten. I don't think that stuff holds the moisture very well. It's moisture or lack thereof and desiccating heat bulbs that cause pyramiding. So add substrate you can moisten and make sure your light isn't too close to the tortoise's back.

Thanks. I have got coco coir I'm just looking for waterproof sheet to go under it. I have clear bin bags not sure that will work. Ordered shower curtain but not due till Thursday. I have move lamp up it is roughly 30 cm from torts shell. It was pet shop that recommended that substrate I have. Not sure they any good tbh.
