and, presumably, to reward my "advertising" for him :)P), he also sent along a 1# bag of the larger "Red Slabs", which, upon looking at them, appear to be the PERFECT size for European (and others of similar size) torts...one "slab" vs. 5-6 "sticks", per tortoise per feeding!

I'm thinking the slabs are designed more for sulcatas, maybe Aldabras and/or Galops, but being the size they are, they're the perfect size for when I need one of the kids to feed my adult Hermann's torts without them having to weigh the chow. One slab per tort...it don't get much simpler than that!

Never really considered that aspect until I actually saw them today.
