"Cherry head" without elbow spur???

Hi everybody!! I have two RFs one Nothern female and a " cherry head" male. They are about 9 inches long and a few weeks ago she lay an egg (first two eggs months ago didnt make it). My question is, why my CH doesnt have the elbow spur???
