I purchased this cherry head a while ago and I've always wondered if his shape was not customary to his type
He appears to be a male and displays make characteristics such as mounting but then I look at his shell and it is almost pear shaped. Is it healthy I've never really seen one like this before.

They both look absolutely stunning to me.
The Brazilians(cherryheads) don't get the constricted waist band like some of the northern redfoots. He looks normal to me. But if you think he's abnormal pm me for my mailing address and send him over. :D
We're these farm raised?

I don't know if he's farm raised I bought him from a guy who said he raised it from a hatchling but was having issues and could not care for it any longer.

The first owner must have done something right raising him. That shell is very smooth! That other tort (the rape victim:)) is very nice looking too,

Cool,. You should go back to the old owner and get as much information as possible on how s/he raised them, I mean everything, take a book and pencil and pick his/her brains.
Where abouts in the world are you?

Man that cherry is beautiful, I'm located in south Florida. I presume this is where he was raised.
