Hi all,
I have a 7 month old leopard tortoise.
He/she (I don’t know!) has been growing consistently, he was 46 g when I first got him and he is now up to 210 g.

Should I be concerned about the brown lines and the slight indentation around the top three scutes?

Some general info:
Enclosure is a large stock tank covered with a greenhouse
The temp is in the 90s
The humidity is typically 75 to 90%
Substrate is orchid bark
He eats a varied diet of greens and Mazuri a couple times/week
Gets calcium powder with vitamin D 2x/week
Gets soaked daily

thanks in advance for any help!
Katie

The slight indention is the mildest of mild pyramiding which is almost impossible to avoid in this species.

I don't see brown lines. The black is new growth and pigmentation coming in. The only other lines I see are the growth lines and those all look normal and great.

I don't think you need to change anything and your tortoise is in the top fraction of the top one percent of leopards as far as appearance goes. I can't think of any other leopards in this size range that look that smooth and that good. You are doing a great job.
